Connect your own AI assistant

Point Claude, Cursor, or another MCP-compatible assistant at your agent, and run your prospecting from wherever you already work.

Everything your Ninja can do in the app, your own assistant can do too — read your pipeline, explain why a lead was ruled out, change your targeting, adjust your cadence, approve a message. It's the same set of tools; only the chat window is different.

Set it up

  1. Open Settings → Connections and find AI assistants (MCP). Click Set up.
  2. Copy the Server URL.
  3. Give the token a name you'll recognize later — "Claude Desktop", "work laptop" — and click Generate token.
  4. Copy the token now. It's shown once and can't be retrieved afterwards. If you lose it, revoke it and generate another.
  5. Use one of the ready-made setup snippets shown right under the token — there's one for Claude Code, one for Cursor, and one for Claude Desktop. Copy it, paste it where your assistant keeps its configuration, and restart the assistant.

That's it. Ask it "what did my agent do today?" to confirm it's connected.

What it can do

The same things you'd ask your Ninja for:

  • Read — today's activity, your pipeline, a lead's history, why someone wasn't qualified, how a flow is performing, how much of your daily allowance is left.
  • Write — change your ICP, add or edit learned rules, adjust the cadence, set your daily volume, add a lead by profile URL, pause or resume a flow, regenerate a draft, approve a message.

Treat the token like a password

This is the part to read twice. A token can do everything you can do in the Ninja chat — including approving a prepared message, which sends it from your LinkedIn account. It doesn't expire on its own.

So:

  • Don't paste it into a shared config, a repo, or a chat.
  • Keep your assistant's per-tool approval prompts on. That prompt is what stands between "draft something" and "send something" — in the app, your Ninja asks you before it writes; a third-party assistant only asks if its own settings say so.
  • One token is pinned to one agent in one workspace. It can't reach a teammate's agent, another organisation, or anything else on your account.
  • Every call it makes is recorded, the same way in-app activity is.

Managing tokens

  • You can have up to 10 active tokens at a time — one per device or assistant is a reasonable habit.
  • The list shows each token's name and when it was last used, so an unused one is easy to spot.
  • Revoke kills a token immediately, on its very next call. Do that if a laptop goes missing, if you stop using an assistant, or if you're simply not sure.
  • Losing access to the workspace revokes its tokens too — if a teammate leaves your team, their tokens stop working without anyone having to remember.

Common questions

Do I need a particular plan?
No — it's available on both Starter and Pro.

Does this replace the Ninja in the app?
No, it's the same agent reached a different way. Use whichever is closer to hand; both see the same pipeline, and changes made in one show up in the other.

Can my assistant send messages to prospects on its own?
It can call the same approve-and-send tool you can. Whether it asks you first is a setting in your assistant, not ours — which is exactly why the approval prompt matters, and why the token is revocable.

I revoked a token by mistake.
Generate a new one and update your assistant's configuration. A revoked token can't be restored.
