Volume and schedule

Adjust how many connection requests your agent sends per day, and when — and understand why the defaults are deliberately conservative.

The defaults: your agent sends roughly 20–25 connection requests per day (your daily allowance), spread through the day in a human-like rhythm, ramping up gradually on a fresh account (warm-up). LinkedIn itself also caps invites at roughly 100–200 per week, resetting every Sunday — your agent paces itself to stay safely under it. More on the daily rhythm in a day in your agent's life.

Change your volume or schedule

  1. Open your Ninja — the Ask your Ninja button, top right. Volume and schedule are controlled here, not through a settings form.
  2. Say what you want, plainly:
    • "Send at most 5 connection requests per day."
    • "Go back to the default daily volume."
  3. Your Ninja confirms the new limit. You can check what's active anytime by asking "What are my current sending limits?"

You control how much your agent sends; it handles when on its own, pacing requests through human-like hours so you don't have to set a schedule.

Changes apply from the next sending window; they don't recall requests already sent today.

Why more isn't better

It's tempting to crank volume, but the bottleneck is almost never how many invites go out:

  • Account safety. Aggressive sending is the #1 trigger for LinkedIn restrictions. The allowance exists to keep your account healthy — see LinkedIn safety.
  • The weekly ceiling. Even at default pace, LinkedIn's own weekly limit is the real cap. Doubling daily volume mostly means hitting the wall on Wednesday and going quiet until Sunday.
  • Quality beats quantity. Acceptance and reply rates move results far more than raw invites. Sharper targeting and better message rules are the levers that pay.

Lowering volume, on the other hand, is always safe — 5 a day is a perfectly good setting if you want a trickle you can watch closely.

Common questions

I set 5 per day but the dashboard shows fewer some days. Broken?
Usually not. Warm-up, the weekly LinkedIn ceiling, or simply a day with fewer qualified leads can all produce lower numbers. Quiet days are normal — the decision tree is in no activity today.

Can I pause everything for a while?
Yes — tell your Ninja: "Pause all outreach until [date]." Follow-ups to existing conversations can be paused too; say so explicitly if you want total silence.

Does the daily allowance include follow-up messages?
No — the allowance counts connection requests. Follow-up messages ride the cadence and stop automatically for anyone who replies.

When does the weekly limit reset?
LinkedIn's weekly invite cap resets every Sunday. If your agent hit it, sending resumes automatically after the reset.

Will raising the allowance get me more meetings?
Rarely. If accepts or replies are low, fix targeting and messaging first — see improve your results.
