Language settings

How your agent chooses the language for outreach, and how to fix messages appearing in the wrong language.

The setting

Your outreach language comes from Settings → Region & language → Agent language. It's a single choice — English or French — and it drives what your agent writes to prospects. The country you set alongside it drives where it searches for them.

Set it once and it applies to every message written from then on. Like all content settings it isn't retroactive: messages already sent stay as they are.

Outreach language vs. app language

These are independent. The language of the app interface follows your own account setting and doesn't affect what your agent writes to prospects. Changing one never changes the other.

Per-case exceptions

Beyond the setting, you can give your Ninja a standing rule for the edge cases. Tell it exactly what you want, in plain words:

  • "Write in French for leads in France, English for everyone else."
  • "Always write in British English."

This becomes a learned rule: it persists and applies to all future messages, on top of the Agent language setting. You can see and edit your rules under Learned rules in the Flow tab.

Fix messages already drafted

If you're in review mode, drafts in the wrong language are sitting at Message prepared:

  • Edit the draft directly before approving, or
  • Use Regenerate with guidance: "rewrite this in English."

If you're in auto mode, change the setting first, then spot-check the next few sends on the Leads tab to confirm the change took.

Still seeing the wrong language?

If messages keep coming out in the wrong language after you've set Agent language and given it a day, contact support with your account email, an example message, and what you have the setting on — a concrete example lets us fix it fast.
